Why this tool exists
PDF-Compact helps students, teachers, researchers, and office teams print fewer sheets without wrestling with inconsistent printer settings. It creates a new PDF with 2, 4, or 9 source pages on each sheet, so the result can be previewed and reused.
How browser processing works
Your source PDF is read by PDF.js and rebuilt with pdf-lib inside your browser. The generated preview uses a temporary local Blob URL. PDF-Compact does not receive or store the source file or generated document.
